The launch event tagged ‘THE INFINIX NOTE 12 VIP EXPERIENCE’ was nothing short of an epic adventure. This event was not your regular device launch as Infinix made a big statement with the Note 12 launch on a prestigious Yacht. With anticipation thick in the air and momentum for an epic adventure brewing, guests arrived pleased with the beautiful view and experience on the water. The one and only Johnny Drille was around to serenade the guests with a beautiful performance before the event kicked off in full gear. Huawei Mate Xs 2 hands-on

#Tech The  Huawei Mate Xs 2  is finally moving out of China and it will come to Europe starting in June. We were lucky enough to attend the launch event and have some early hands-on impressions to share with it. The Huawei Mate Xs 2 will be offered in three colors - Black with what Huawei calls a cross-hatch leather texture, White with a "natural" leather texture, and Violet. The Mate Xs 2 is a significant departure from its predecessor the  Mate Xs  in terms of design, but shares a lot of its hardware. The camera setup, for example, is very close in terms of specs, as is the battery. But the display and the body are very different. The Huawei Mate Xs 2's display stretches to a slightly smaller 7.8-inch diagonal and retains a 6.5-inch usable area when folded. The resolution is the same at 2200x2480px, but this year's panel can variably refresh up to 120Hz. The body is 45g lighter and a bit smaller overall, both of which are immediately noticeable.  #Tech Oppo’s Reno8 series is launching next Monday on  May 23  and the leaks just keep coming. The series is actually listed on Oppo China’s online store revealing three models - Reno8, Reno8 Pro and Reno8 Pro+. We now have detailed official images of all three phones revealing their color options and designs. In addition, a Chinese tech blogger posted a hands-on video of the Reno8 Pro+ showing out the phone’s design. We can see the back design on the Reno8 Pro+ is inspired by the Find X5 series with a fairly large camera island that melts into the back frame. The phone brings flat aluminum sides and is said to come in at 7.34mm thickness (not accounting for the camera bump) which would make it the thinnest Oppo Reno phone. The front brings a centered punch-hole cutout and symmetrical top and bottom bezels.     Oppo Reno8 Looking at the official images we can see the three phones share similar designs but the Reno8 Pro and 8Pro+ bring four rear cameras alongside Oppo’s MariSilicon X N

OnePlus Ace Racing edition launches with 120Hz LCD and Dimensity 8100-Max

#Tech A gaming phone on a budget – that is the elevator pitch for the new  OnePlus Ace Racing  edition. As the name suggests, it is related to the  OnePlus Ace , specifically, it uses the same Dimensity 8100-Max chipset, an efficient 5nm chip that gives even the Snapdragon 888 a run for its money. Speaking of money, the original Ace launched at CNY 2,500 for an 8/128GB model. The MSRP of the Racing edition is CNY 2,000 ($300/€280/₹23,00), 20% cheaper than is sibling. For comparison, the related Realme GT Neo3 (with 6GB of RAM instead of 8GB and with 80W charging) costs CNY 2,000. Those are the MSRPs anyway, the Racing edition actually costs a bit less now thanks to a launch discount.     OnePlus Ace Racing edition How did OnePlus reduce the budget? Well, it dropped the 6.7” AMOLED display and swapped it out with a slightly smaller 6.59” LCD. It still offers 120Hz maximum refresh rate (there are six modes: 30/48/50/60/90/120 Hz). The touch sampling rate is lower, 240Hz (vs. 720Hz). Thi
